From Students to Missionaries

Our students are coming from various countries and nations within Northern Africa and the Middle East. Many of them will become life-long friends developing a sense of community and family during their stay at the 10/40 MTI. But all of them will be commissioned to carry the good news of Jesus Christ to the unreached and unchurched people of the world!

The students of the 10/40 Missionary Training Institute are committing their time to be campus and their life to the call of God! That call and purpose is to become an Evangelist, a Missionary or a Pastor to planted ministries based within the regions of the unreached and unchurched people of the world. They have a desire to reach the nations for Jesus Christ and we are creating the atmosphere for them to come and study the Word of God, learn how to be an effective minister within the kingdom, and leave equipped and empowered to reach the lost people in regions beyond! Classes will be taught by David and Shonda Tompkins and many other seasoned missionaries and ministers.

MISSION

The 10/40 MTI is dedicated to training, equipping and sending nationals from within the 10/40 window to evangelize their own nations with the good news of Jesus Christ!

  • TRAIN indigenous church planters and leaders who will start hundreds of churches and Bible-based classes throughout all 29 unreached nations of Western, Eastern and Northern Africa.
  • EQUIP hundreds of church planters, now missionaries to start churches and Bible-based ministries to these 29 unreached nations of Western, Eastern and Northern Africa.
  • SEND 500+ near culture missionaries to these unreached African nations by 2040.

As Global Missionary Evangelists', David and Shonda Tompkins are the founders of "Praise Ministries Int'l", aka PMImissions. Their mission is to share the good news of grace and hope in Christ Jesus to the entire world, especially to those who have never heard. They are based out of Victory Church in Oklahoma City with PMI's offices in Edmond OK. David and Shonda have preached the message of salvation through Jesus Christ in 4 continents and 21 countries for over 36 years. They have witnessed tens of thousands coming to the Lord by their invitations. God has used them to network ministries from various denominations and organizations all over the earth. Their heart is to "Go and make disciples of all nations" while teaching others to do the same.

Apostle to the Nations

Apostle Samuel Muyanja is the founder of "Go Win For Christ Mission." The purpose of this missions ministry is to reach the unreached with the Gospel of Jesus and His love. His travels are based out of the Shiloh Prayer House Churches of Uganda with the headquarters located in KYADONDO COUNTY-WAKISO DISTRICT. Apostle Muyanja has preached the Gospel of Jesus within Africa for over 30 years. God has used him to network ministers and ministries all over Africa and beyond, spreading the Word of God through evangelism and maintaining an incredible missions oversight. As an honored vessel to the Kingdom of God, Samuel continues to edify and stir up the body of Christ, while constructing churches and buildings in various indigenous places.

The 10/40 Dream Team

David and Shonda Tompkins with Praise Ministries Int'l (PMI) and Bishops Ancilla and Emmanuel Musisi of the Busia Miracle Center Ministries (BMCM) have been hosting a "Bible Institute for Ministry Excellence" since 2016. Hundreds of Ministers and spiritual leaders have completed the program and received a sealed Certificate of Completion from PMI in a special ordination and sending service. The results have been powerful and life-changing! We have trained Pastors in multiple nations in Africa, winning and discipling people and families to God's kingdom by the truth of God's Word!

In the fall of 2022, David and Shonda traveled to Africa to share a Word believed to be direct from the Holy Spirit. The group of ministers in the photo was present in this private session of vision casting. The vision was to build and establish a Missionary Training Institute that would "Train, Equip and Send" indigenous students into the 10/40 window, which is the highest population of unreached people groups. The team all agreed that the Holy Spirit had been speaking the same Word to them! We prayed and we wept over the unreached people of the earth and in that moment, the decision was made to build the 10/40 Missionary Training Institute! We will have the ability to do classes throughout the year, live, online and streaming. We already have students ready to join us in 2025 from Ethiopia, Eritrea, Egypt, Sudan, Algeria, Somalia, Djibouti, and Chad Africa! We are so excited about this next phase of ministry for David and Shonda in Africa! Truly we are about to reach the unreached for Jesus Christ like never before!

 

The Busia Miracle Center Ministries

2023: SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Land was donated this year for us to build a four-level dormitory for the national students, men and women, coming from northern countries of Africa to stay while attending classes.

Special thank you to Bishops' Emmanuel and Ancilla Musisi and the Busia Miracle Center for their generosity in sowing this property to the cause of taking the gospel to the nations!

The 10/40 Missionary Training Institute (1040MTI) is currently meeting in the auditorium of the Busia Miracle Center (BMC) which also serves as the ministries home base. We have designated space adequate technology in place for teaching sessions where students will hear from a diverse group of experienced ministers and missionaries. 

Progress is underway to build a 4-story multipurpose facility with offices,  multiple classrooms, a large chapel, and 2 floors dedicated to housing students with restrooms and showers. In August of 2023, we held a groundbreaking ceremony, and the construction of the ground floor is now done! This new building will allow the 10/40 MTI to serve even more students and expand our production capability to impact the nations with the precious Good news of Jesus Christ.

DAVID & SHONDA TOMPKINS

Co-founders and Missionaries to the Nations

David and Shonda celebrate 36 years of traveling and serving in the US and overseas. To date, they as based in Edmond, Oklahoma in the U.S. and over these 36 years, have ministered to tens of thousands of people in 21 different Countries across four Continents.  They have witnessed thousands of people being born-again and have directly trained hundreds of Christian leaders that are now serving all over the world, in the US and abroad. God uses them to facilitate short-term Missions Teams each year to various nations with more than 500 participates.

Prior to their time establishing the 10/40 Missionary Training Institute, David and Shonda, along with their family, have Pastored in two churches, both based in Oklahoma for a total of 20 years. They are both used as conference speakers all over the world, sharing how God desires to use people today to leave their mark for the gospel's sake and the growth of the Kingdom of God! They now partner with Bishop Ancilla and Pastor Emmanuel Musisi of the Busia Miracle Center in Uganda, East Africa. They have conducted annual Bible-based Leadership Training Seminars in Busia for the last 8 years and running.

Associate Pastors of the Busia Miracle Center Ministries

In just three years after Pastor Dickson became born-again in 1994, he was serving in his local church in the music ministry. At 19, he became a Pastor of a planted church work in the year 2000. In 2001, Pastor Dickson was appointed to be the interpreter for David Tompkins for a large outdoor Crusade and a Spiritual Leadership Conference for the Busia Miracle Center. He has served as David's personal assistant ever since that time. In 2002, Pastor Dickson was able to join an affiliated institution of the Makerere University where he obtained his diploma in Environmental Health Science. Also in 2002, he was ordained as one of the Pastors of the Busia Miracle Center Church. God has used Dickson and His wife Gloria in music ministry, the gifts of healings, preaching and teaching the Word in Universities, prisons, revival and conference meetings, with the emphasis on building the body of Christ and understanding their identity! Dickson continues to serve in Youth and Children's ministry as well as being an Associate Pastor and secretary to the BMC Pastoral Council.

Pastor Dickson Wabwire is currently on paid administrative staff with Praise Ministries Int'l Inc. and is also serving as our 10/40 MTI Building Director, coordinating the activities of the construction of the 10/40 Missionary Training Institute.
