The Busia Miracle Center Ministry Grounds
Since 2016, David and Shonda Tompkins with Praise Ministries Int'l (PMI) have hosted annual "Bible Institute's For Ministry Excellence" on the grounds of the Busia Miracle Center Ministries (BMCM), in Busia Uganda, EAST AFRICA. Hundreds of Ministry Leaders have been trained, empowered, ordained and commissioned for the ministry since that time. The 10/40 Missionary Training Institute now has it's own building right on these grounds and is being constructed!
David and Shonda have been working with Bishops Emmanuel and Ancilla Musisi of the BMCM since 2001. Together they have watched the Lord grow this entire partnership in ministry, expanding territories and taking new ground for God's kingdom!
The 10/40 Missionary Training Institute | Busia, Uganda | East Africa
The building located in Busia Uganda East Africa, is dedicated to housing and training students from northern Africa and middle eastern nations to learn Biblical foundations and spiritual leadership principles. It also includes training to evangelize with the gospel of Jesus Christ, and strategic planting of Christian works within the 10/40 window of unreached people groups that have never heard about Jesus! 47% of the entire world population is located within this window of people groups and they have never heard of Jesus Christ.
God is orchestrating efforts like this one in India, the Middle East and other nations right now. We believe it is His will and mission “for such a time as this!”
There are 69 nations across northern Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia in the 10/40 Window. Nearly 4 billion people live here, including 90 percent of the world's poorest of the poor.
Exciting News! Our Groundbreaking Ceremony was held on August 27, 2023. The construction has begun on this new 4 story facility!
Because of our Ministry Partners, their prayers and generosity, we have been consistent with the construction! These are ongoing photos of our progress!

The 10/40 MTI BUILDING CAMPAIGN
MTI Finished Cost: $250,000.00
August 2024 Update: You have already helped us invest $44,500.00 into this 10/40 Missionary Training Institute structure.
Building Structure: This project is key to training hundreds of evangelists and missionaries by 2040 from whom church planting movements are birthed. There are 4 stories of this building. Ground floor has administration offices, classrooms, restrooms and a Veranda. First floor has room for 30 beds for female MTI students, a sitting room, restrooms and a balcony. The second floor has room for 30 beds for male MTI students, a sitting room, restrooms and a balcony. The third floor has a large chapel serving also as a fellowship hall with a kitchenette, restrooms and a balcony. There are stairways on both ends of the building for quick access and a water tower on top. The building will also be equipped with a large automatic generator and modern A/V equipment.
